A great addition to the trailing arm bracket gussets, these rear upper shock mount bracket gussets significantly strengthen the factory shock mounting location, preventing failure from fatigue as the suspension cycles thousands of times throughout the chassis life. When the rear suspension drops out from under the car when jumping, the shock of the un-sprung weight combined with the shock of the spring unloading, leads to premature failure of the factory upper shock bracket. Our gusset wraps over the main tube to make a positive connection, making it the strongest option on the market short of cutting the brackets off and building new ones.
